In recent times, with the prolong use of laptop computers, the production of heat from the motherboard is unavoidable and it has caused damages to computer laptop systems. This study however tends to achieve the following objectives:
1. Find out what causes excessive heat production in laptop systems.
2. The roles played by the Processor and motherboard in the production of heat.
3. The effect of the environment where the laptop computer is being used.
4. Reactions by the users and their opinions.
5. Results and empirical analysis.
